WHAT’S DIFFERENT ABOUT THIS STORE?
Inviting families to shop at our Christmas Store allows parents to pick out their own gifts for their kids, be the hero in their children’s lives, and have pride and dignity about the fact that they purchased gifts for their kids on their own. It is a fun-filled evening for all: kids can do a Christmas craft and decorate cookies while parents shop, and families can have a homemade meal together!
HOW YOU CAN HELP
Interested in donating to the store? We’ll provide you with information on household items, gift cards, and the gender and age range of toys still needed. With your help, we make sure toys of all age ranges are available at the store, along with household items and gifts cards so that families can purchase clothing for their kids.
P.S. We also need volunteers to help; elf clothing helpful but not required.
Listen to last year’s shoppers:
- "This gave me a sense of pride because I was able to give my kids Christmas gifts myself."
- "This is truly amazing. There are still good people in Grand Rapids."
- "I can't believe all I am leaving here with. You are all such a blessing to us."
- “I can’t wait for Christmas morning for my kids to see what I bought them!”
