Ways to Give

Family Promise has many ways for you to give and each one makes an incredible impact on the life of a child experiencing homelessness in West Michigan.

When a family loses their home, it also means they lose a lot of their possessions – kids have to leave behind their favorite toys, their beds and warm blankets. That’s where you come in.

By making a monthly gift, you will be helping to provide those critical basic needs – the bare necessities – while providing a foundation of support for families who have hit this bump in the road.

You can be the reason a child has diapers, the reason a mom can get to work when her car breaks down, the reason a child has a safe place to lay their head at night. Each family in our shelter won’t have to worry about how they will get what they need for their kids. Thank you for helping give these families hope for a new home and a better future.

If you are interested in making a monthly gift, just select “Recurring Giving” on our donation page.

Planned Giving

At Family Promise, we are passionate about ending family homelessness. Our supporters are too, and have left gifts in their wills or estate plans so they can have even more impact on future generations. You can too. You’ll be helping end homelessness one family at a time for years to come. There are a few different ways to do this:

Stock Gifts or Appreciated Securities
Donating stocks or mutual funds to Family Promise of West Michigan is a smart and simple way to help protect families. By making a gift of appreciated securities, you may be able to avoid capital gains tax, diversify your portfolio and secure a stream of income.

Charitable Gift Annuity
This can provide you and/or another beneficiary with stable income for life. You may also receive an immediate income tax deduction.

Planned Gift
You can further your charitable and financial goals and help children facing homelessness by making a planned gift to Family Promise of West Michigan.
